About Barrett Le
I wasn't supposed to be a founder.
No formal Computer Science nor Design degree. No startup pedigree. No roadmap. Just a brain that wouldn't stop generating ideas, and couldn't stop until they were built.
I'm Barrett Le. I run Bearplus, a fullstack design and development agency where I help founders turn messy product visions into clean, conversion-focused experiences. Alongside that, I'm constantly building side projects, tools, experiments that scratch whatever itch my brain decided matters this week.
For most of my life, I thought I was just… bad at being normal. Easily distracted. Hyperfocused on the wrong things at the wrong times. Inconsistent.
Turns out, I have ADHD. Late diagnosis. Classic story.
What changed wasn't my brain, it was my relationship with it. I stopped fighting the way I work and started building systems around it. Now the same wiring that made school hell makes me weirdly good at spotting UX problems, shipping fast, and thinking in ways most people don't.
This blog is my open notebook. The strategies I've tested. The tools I've built. The founder lessons I learned the expensive way. The honest reality of building a business when your brain runs on chaos fuel.
If you're a founder, a builder, or just someone trying to do great work while your brain fights you every step of the way — welcome. You're going to be fine.
Barrett is the founder of Bearplus and writes about ADHD, building products, and the unglamorous reality of running a creative agency.
